The integration supports usage-based billing for key resources, including CPU, memory, storage, the total number of virtual machines and running virtual machines. Providers can choose between flat/resource-based pricing and PAYG billing models, allowing charges to accurately reflect the way services and resources are consumed. HostBill automates the complete VDC lifecycle, with the ability to create, update, suspend and delete VDCs based on service status and configured automation rules. Multi-tenant support provides automatic tenant isolation and management, while resource thresholds can be used to trigger alerts and automated actions when defined usage levels are reached. From the HostBill Client Portal, customers can monitor their resource usage and access their Multiportal login details, giving them convenient visibility and access to their cloud environment. Administrators can view and manage billing details, track resource consumption and control the account lifecycle directly from HostBill.
