Security is critical. We are working on tweaking code, finding vulnerabilities and we have added additional security miscellaneous to secure your HostBill.
Adminarea allowed IPs
You can create rules to filter acces to your adminarea. Those rules may include whole subnets or just single ips.
Login notification
This feature is responsible for notification of all admins if someone was logged into HostBill Adminarea.
Ban email
Sick of spammers that overload your support dashboard? Ban Email Allows to ban traffic from certain domains/email addresses.

Seting security rules for adminarea
You can easily restrict acces to your admina area by setting ip addres filters, if a filter matches a user ip it will, considering its specified action, deny or allow that user to login into HostBill Adminarea.
Example rules:
- 120.123.123.57 /28 matches IP from 120.123.123.48 to 120.123.123.63
- 120.123.123.57 /24 matches IP from 120.123.123.0 to 120.123.123.255
- 120.123.123.57 /16 matches IP from 120.123.0.0 to 120.123.255.255
- 120.123.123.57 /8 matches IP from 120.0.0.0 to 120.255.255.255
- 120.123.123.57 matches IP 120.123.123.57 only
Multiple rules
When you specify two or more rules, theyre checked from the first created (bottom-last) to the latest, ie.
- 120.123.123.57 - allow
- 120.123.123.12 - allow
- all - deny
Will grant acces only for those two ip above 'all - deny' entry.
Default behaviour when no 'all' type rules are specified is 'all - allow'
IP Bans & Email Bans
Banning new ip or email domain
Every ip you enter in IP Ban form has to match exactly the user ip you want to ban, those bans aply both for HostBill adminarea and clientarea restriting login or registration.
Email Bans restrict only registrations of accounts from specified email domains, they match the part of email after the 'at' sign.
Login notification
In this tab you have the option to set, if you want to be notified via email when someone has logged into HostBill Adminarea. To enable notifications for yourself or other staff members simply click enable button beside their names.
